ZimVie on Aug. 10 reported net sales of $233.4 million in the second quarter.

1. The company's net sales of $233.4 million was an 11.5 percent decrease from the same time last year.
2. Third-party spine and dental sales decreased year over year as well. Spine sales were $115.2 million, a 19.6 percent dip, while dental sales were $118.2 million, a 1.8 percent decrease.
3. ZimVie saw an $8.7 million net loss in the second quarter. It was primarily because of a decline in spine business, according to the report.
4. The company's full-year guidance was adjusted, and the projected revenue for 2022 fell from $1 billion to an estimated $915 million to $930 million.
