SeaSpine's latest device launch and five more updates from spine medtech companies in the last week:

1. SeaSpine's WaveForm TO was released in a full commercial launch. It was designed for posterior lumbar interbody fusions and transforaminal lumbar interbody fusions.

2. Stryker opened a 150,000-square-foot research and development facility at the International Tech Park in Gurgaon, India, on June 7.

3. Zavation Medical's EZspand lateral cage received FDA clearance.

4. Zimmer Biomet is funding a $1.25 million fellowship grant in partnership with the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

5. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office gave Aurora Spine a patent for its interlaminar single implant technology for motion preservation or fusion.

6. Accelus promoted three people to its sales team leadership, and all have backgrounds at large devicemakers.
