InVivo Therapeutics Announces Carolinas Medical Center as 2nd Clinical Site for Neuro-Spinal Scaffold Study

 

InVivo Therapeutics announced that Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., will be the second clinical site for the clinical trial of its Neuro-Spinal Scaffold.

This is the first clinical trial of the scaffold, which is intended for spinal cord injury treatments. The first clinical site selected is The University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson.

 

The pilot study has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
