InVivo Therapeutics adds Vidant Medical Center to INSPIRE study: 4 points

Cambridge, Mass.-based InVivo Therapeutics added Greenville, N.C.-based Vidant Medical Center as a clinical site for The INSPIRE study.

1. Vidant Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital for the East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C.

 

2. Neurosurgeon Stuart Lee, MD, will be the site’s principal investigator.

 

3. Sixteen clinical sites are now participating in The INSPIRE Study.

 

4.”We are quite excited to take part in a study that has the potential to change the standard of care for acute, traumatic spinal cord injury,” said Dr. Lee.
