The agreements allow Intellirod Spine to utilize X-spine Fortex implants in conjunction with its forthcoming LOADPRO disposable microelectronic sensor. The system is intended for use during corrective spinal surgeries, and it enables surgeons to monitor rod strain levels as corrections are being made.
Intellirod Spine also plans to begin pairing the LOADPRO with the Fortex system in initial alpha site launches later this year.
