The FDA-cleared product is a miniature smart tool that allows the surgeon to intraoperatively control the key measurements required for selecting and positioning an implant as well as setting a patient’s leg length and offset equivalency as accurately as possible. It has already been used in more than 200 hip replacement surgeries.
The product will be presented at the 2015 annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in Las Vegas, March 25 to March 27.
