Charlotte, N.C.-based Intelligent Implant Systems received patent approval for two applications that broadly cover its novel products and technologies.

One patent is for the insertion of percutaneous implants in the U.S. and the other for the company’s Load Sharing Interbody Fusion device in Japan.

Intelligent Implant Systems is a developer of treatments for spine devices and implants.
