Intelivation Technologies gets FDA approval for cervical interbody fusion device

St. Simons Island, Ga.-based medical device company Intelivation Technologies won FDA approval for the Advantage-C PEEK cervical interbody fusion device, the company said Sept. 8.

The device was developed to improve fusion while maintaining elasticity similar to bone. It is designed for use in adults in levels C2-T1, along with fixation for anterior cervical discectomy and fusion procedures.

“The management team looks forward to a successful launch during the 36th Annual NASS Meeting in Boston Sept. 29 to Oct. 2,” CEO Rob Anderson said.
