Integrated Endoscopy to exhibit nuvis arthroscopic surgery device — 5 highlights

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.-based Integrated Endoscopy will exhibit its nuvis Single-Use Arthroscope at the 2016 American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo., from July 7 to July 9.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. The nuvis Single-Use Arthroscope device is the only FDA-approved single-use rigid endoscope commercially available in the United States.

 

2. The nuvis Arthroscope’s features include high-definition optics and an LED light source.

 

3. The device also features 12 molded-glass lenses, less than the standard number of ground-glass lenses that other reusable arthroscopes require.

 

4. Physicians perform more than 4 million knee arthroscopies worldwide each year.

 

5. Integrated Endoscopy’s portfolio includes close to 20 patents in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia and Canada.
