Plainsboro, N.J.-based Integra LifeSciences’ partnership with India-based Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories will expand the device company’s global market.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Dr. Reddy’s will market and distribute DuraGen Plus and Suturable DuraGen Dural Regeneration Matrices for patients in India.

 

2. Integra LifeSciences CFO and Corporate Vice President, International Glenn Coleman said, “This collaboration will allow us to continue to expand patient access globally and provide innovative regenerative technology solutions to neurosurgeons and patients in India.”

 

3. The DuraGen product line helps repair the dura matter. DuraGen Plus Dural Regeneration Matric is a dural substitute for the repair of the dura matter.

 

4. Over 1.8 million patients have been implanted with Integra’s DuraGen after neurological procedures.
