Integra LifeSciences launches nail system for ankle fusion: 3 things to know

Integra LifeSciences launched the Integra Panta 2 TTC Arthrodesis Nail System for tibio-talo-calcaneal ankle fusion for severe arthritis.

Three things to know:

1. Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons James Brodsky, MD, Christian Royer, MD, and Ari Kaz, MD, helped develop the system.

2. TTC Fusion is a reconstructive ankle surgery for severe arthritis and complex deformities in which bone-to-bone contact through compression is important for long-term success.

3. With up to 12 millimeters of compression for patients of varying anatomy, the Panta 2 instrumentation and implants are designed to TTC joint fusion.
