CareSense is the company’s new software solution enabling providers and institutions to collect and analyze real-time data. The subscription-based program is designed to collect patient outcomes, patient satisfaction and cost information before, during and after surgery. The system is designed to optimize:
• Market research
• Administrate patient satisfaction surveys
• Benchmark against peers
• Analyze financial metrics
The CareSense system is licensed from Medtrak by DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction.
The PATIENT ATHLETE Program is a video-based program to help joint replacement patients learn how to bring their full and best energy to their lives before and after surgery. The program goes beyond pain reduction to include self-guided lessons to watch four weeks before surgery and 11 additional post-surgical lessons.
The video includes:
• Simple action steps
• Tools to help better equip patients to understand how joint pain impacts their lives
• Steps to maximize recovery
In pilot-tested cities, patients reported less fear about surgery and felt like they recovered more quickly with the videos.
