Four things to know:

1. Nimbus was designed to provide a cost-effective non-narcotic pain management solution.

2. It is an electronic pain pump that controls the delivery of fluid from a source of non-narcotic medication to the surgical area.

3. Nimbus allows a facility to preload infusion orders with safeguards to protect against under- or over-infusion of medication.

4. The device features a delay start function to extend infusion therapy further into the recovery period, which can turn two days of therapy into four days.
