Three things to know:

1. The Jazz Lock implant is designed to treat degenerative spine disorders.

2. Its locking mechanism requires no rod fixation.

3. Combined with the Jazz Band polyester braid, the implant enables surgeons to shorten procedures by eliminating the need for locking screws and connecting rods.

“We expect that Jazz Cap coupled with Jazz Lock will become the optimal alternative to cement augmented pedicle screws,” said CEO Ludovic Lastennet. “The full-scale launch of this technology is scheduled for September, when a global presentation will be given at the annual meeting of the North American Spine Society in Chicago.”
