Implanet receives clearance for total knee prosthesis — 3 things to know

The FDA granted Implanet a 510(k) clearance for the cemented version of its Madison total knee prosthesis.

Three things to know:

1. Seven years of clinical results and data as well as 17,000 implants supported the decision.

2. The implant features cobalt chrome femoral and tibial components.

3. Implanet employs 38 staff and recorded $6.7 million in sales in 2018.
