Here are three takeaways:

1. Jazz Passer is designed for posterior fixation in spine surgery and comprises new instruments, as well as a variation of the Jazz Band braid. The system is compatible with the entire Jazz Platform.

2. The Jazz system treats all degenerative, scoliosis deformities and trauma pathologies in children and adults. Implanet created the Jazz Passer to provide additional options for accessing and working around anatomical structures.

3. Jazz Passer received FDA clearance in September. The company plans to showcase the device at upcoming scientific conventions.

Implant CEO Ludovic Lastennet said, “This innovation will accelerate the adoption of Jazz technology by new European surgeons. This highly dynamic market is driven by France and Germany, regions where we are active, notably in the high potential adult degenerative bone disorder segment.”
