The EOS imaging system combines x-ray, low-dose radiation and an open design to take high resolution images. It uses Flex Dose technology to modulate radiation exposure and is designed for a more comfortable patient experience.

“It enables us to see the entire spine, its interconnections and balance points, so we can treat the underlying condition that caused the disc to rupture or the bone to slip,” Adam Kanter, MD, associate executive medical director of the Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute, said in the releaese. “The EOS helps us understand why the problem occurred, not just that it did occur.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery. Apply for complimentary registration now.
