Hensler Bone Press to Launch Next Month

Thomas Melin, MD, a neurosurgeon with New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C., and neurosurgical physician assistant Sean Hensler, will launch their Hensler Bone Press at the North American Spine Society’s annual meeting in Dallas, according to a Greater Wilmington Business Journal report.

According to the report, the device is designed to pick up bone fragments for reuse in grafting procedures. The Hensler Bone Press is still undergoing design controls.
