1. The competition occurred during the HITLAB Innovators Summit: New York on Nov. 30, 2016.

 

2. Green Sun Medical’s dynamic spinal alignment brace won the second place price of $3,000.

 

3. The spinal alignment brace is designed to correct adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and kyphosis.

 

4. Jamie Haggard co-founded Green Sun Medical and serves as the company’s CEO.

 

5. Mr. Haggard said the company’s mission involves preventing “as many scoliosis surgeries as possible with our tech-enabled dynamic brace.”
