Globus Medical’s CEO: 5 things to know

Keith Pfeil was named CEO of Globus Medical in July. Here are five things to know about him.

1. Mr. Pfeil succeeded Dan Scavilla as CEO after the former leader pursued a new opportunity.

2. Mr. Pfeil joined Globus Medical as senior vice president and CFO. In 2024 he was named executive vice president, COO and CFO.

3. Before joining Globus Medical, Mr. Pfeil worked at CSS Industries for 15 years, and his last role was executive vice president and CFO. He also has experience at Ernst & Young and KPMG.

4. In the early months of his leadership, Globus Medical saw growth in second-quarter sales.

5. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Elizabethtown (Pa.) College, and he completed an executive MBA from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
