Globus Medical Reports $7.4M Net Income, Drop From Q2 2012

Globus Medical reported 11.5 percent increase in net sales for the second quarter of 2013 and a 10.8 percent increase in U.S. sales over the same period of last year.

However, net income for the quarter was $7.4 million, a drop from $19 million last year. The company remains debt free. During the second quarter, Globus Medical launched six new products, including the first laterally expanding unitary interbody fusion spacer, the LATIS.
