Four things to know:
1. Globus Medical is inching closer to FDA clearance for its XR augmented reality headset. It will work with the ExcelsiusHub, Mr. Scavilla said as transcribed by Motley Fool. He expects the system to be cleared in the first quarter of 2025.
2. Globus Medical saw a record number of new launches in 2024 with 18 new products, Mr. Scavilla said.
3. In the fourth quarter of 2024, Globus Medical had the highest number of robot placements, a 47% increase year over year, Mr. Scavilla said.
4. The company’s integration with NuVasive is “progressing well,” but the duo has yet to “fully harness the power” of the merger, Mr. Scavilla said.
