Globus Medical Launches New Spinal Surgery System

Globus Medical, based in Audubon, Pa., has launched the FORTIFY I, an expandable corpectomy spacer with integrated screws for further stability in addition to supplemental fixation.

The system provides anterior column support for individual and multiple level corpectomy patients. The integrated screws are designed to prevent dislodgement and the radiolucent PEEK implant option allows for postoperative visualization.
