Georgia orthopedic practice onboards robotic knee system

Tifton-based Georgia Sports Medicine added Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa Knee for joint replacements, according to a July 3 release.

Georgia Sports Medicine orthopedic surgeons William Smith, MD, David Banks, MD, and Kyle Fleck, MD, will perform the Rosa procedures at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The Rosa technology allows for real-time feedback in appropriate bone resection, component positioning and ligament balancing.
