George Washington University Hospital First in US to Use Kiva VCF Treatment System

Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University Hospital announced that it is the first healthcare facility in the U.S. to use Benvenue Medical’s FDA-approved Kiva VCF Treatment System.

The minimally invasive Kiva System can be used to treat vertebral compression fracture patients. It featured a flexible implant made from PEEK-OPTIMA, a biocompatible polymer developed by Invibio Biomaterial Solutions.
