1. Equipped with more than 36 years of medical device industry experience, Mr. Ooi currently serves as independent director at XinRong Medical Group.
2. A great chunk of Mr. Ooi’s career was at Zimmer, where he spent more than three decades. He most recently served as the Asia Pacific president for Zimmer. Prior to that, he was the vice president of the Asian market and vice president of the Australasian market, among other roles.
3. Before joining Zimmer, Mr. Ooi worked for Johnson & Johnson.
4. He earned his MBA from the National University of Singapore.
5. XinRong Medical produces solutions for orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive therapy.
