Jim Cloar left his Zimmer Biomet post after 18 months to lead operations at Aspen, which develops spinal bracing technology, according to a Nov. 10 news release.
Mr. Cloar has vast experience in the spine and orthopedic device industry. He has held executive leadership positions at Medtronic, DePuy, Smith+Nephew and Synaptive Medical.
He succeeds Dan Williamson, Aspen’s founder, who will stay on as a member of the board of directors.
