Former Stryker exec named CEO at Think Surgical

Orthopedic devicemaker Think Surgical named Stuart Simpson as its new president and CEO, the company said Sept. 1.

Mr. Simpson previously worked at Stryker for 24 years and held several roles including president of the joint replacement division. During his time at Stryker, he helped with the acquisition of Mako Surgical.

“Stuart is renowned for creating and implementing industry-leading commercial practices across the orthopedics landscape,” Mannami Shuzo, Think Surgical’s board chair said. “His innovative thinking and global experience in medical device and healthcare with a reputation for achieving tangible results will be invaluable to Think as we focus on our commercial strategy.”
