Gary Fischetti joined the board of directors of Medcura, which develops LifeGel, according to a May 3 news release.
Mr. Fischetti has more than 35 years of experience in medtech including senior executive roles with Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon and DePuy Synthes businesses. He’s also on the boards of Anika Therapeutics, Acuitive Technologies, and he’s board chair for Orchid Orthopedic Solutions.

LifeGel is Medcura’s flagship product and is a he first and only absorbable hemostatic agent to receive FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its non-swelling properties.
