Former Amedica board chairman Dr. Max Link passes away

 
Max E. Link, PhD, its former Amedica board of directors chairman, passed away unexpectedly.

Dr. Link was 74 years old. He served as the Amedica’s board chairman from October 2003 until his retirement in August 2014. Over the course of his career, Dr. Link served as director and chairman in several prestigious companies in the healthcare and biopharmaceutical fields.

 

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend, colleague and trusted advisor Dr. Max Link,” said Sonny Bal, MD, chairman and CEO of Amedica. “We extend our condolences and heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends during this difficult time. We’re grateful for the important contributions Max made to our company and board for more than a decade. His dedication and passion will be greatly missed by all at Amedica.”
