Xvision uses a headset and augmented reality to help surgeons see a patient’s anatomy during procedures. It’s designed to increase precision and efficiency.

“This 3D-projected image of the vertebra shows you in real time what the anatomy is and takes any uncertainty out of the procedure,” Ngoc Nguyen, MD, a spine surgeon at SMH, said in the release. “You know exactly where you’re placing every screw.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
