FDA clears Stimwave’s Freedom Spinal Cord Stimulator System

Stimwave received FDA clearance for the first injectable wireless microsize pain relief system.

The device is currently marketed throughout Europe, and now approved for marketing in the United States. The Stimwave Freedom Spinal Cord Stimulator System. It is the smallest neuromodulation device available.

 

There is a tiny injectable microchip device to deliver small pulses of energy to electrodes near surrounding nerves to trigger a reaction that enables the brain to remap specific pain signals.
