FDA clears Life Spine’s anterior cervical plate system — 5 notes

Huntley, Ill.-based Life Spine received FDA clearance for its GRUVE Anterior Cervical Plate System.

Here are five notes:

 

1. GRUVE is designed for extreme bone screw angulation and large graft windows.

 

2. Surgeons can visually confirm the locking mechanism during final screw placement.

 

3. This system is the eighth cervical plating option for spine surgeons.

 

4. Life Spine plans to launch a limited release of GRUVE in early 2016, with the full release in second quarter 2016.

 

5. Life Spine designs, develops, manufactures and markets products for spinal disorder treatment.
