Surgical workflow and operations software company eXeX appointed Max Reinhardt president of healthcare.

Mr. Reinhardt will lead commercial execution for the company’s surgery intelligence platform, Canopus, as eXeX expands deployments across hospital systems in the U.S., the U.K. and other markets, according to a July 21 news release.

Mr. Reinhardt brings more than three decades of MedTech and pharmaceutical leadership experience, including 17 years at Johnson & Johnson. He most recently served as president of Orthofix Medical’s global spine and biologics business in 2024.

Earlier leadership roles included president of Pacira BioSciences and worldwide president of DePuy Synthes Spine, where he previously oversaw a business responsible for $5.5 billion in orthopedics revenue.

The appointment follows what the company described as accelerated growth for Canopus, which has been deployed across multiple hospital groups in the U.S. and U.K. and has supported several thousand live surgeries. eXeX also launched Canopus Command, a portal designed to provide hospitals with real-time operational data on surgical workflows and operating room performance.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
