Exactech Q1 2017 revenue hits $69.5M — 8 highlights

1. The company’s domestic revenue saw a 7 percent jump to $47.7 million, compared to the first quarter of 2016.

 

2. International revenue increased to $21.8 million in the first quarter of 2017, a 5 percent jump from the same period the year prior.

 

3. Exactech’s earnings per share was $0.32 in the first quarter of 2017 based on net income of $4.6 million.

 

4. The company’s extremity revenues experienced a 21 percent boost from the first quarter of 2016, up to $24.8 million in the first quarter of 2017.

 

5. Knee revenue increased to $20 million in the first quarter of 2017, up 1 percent from the same period the year prior.

 

6. Hip revenue jumped 6 percent to $12.1 million in the first quarter of 2017, up from the first quarter of 2016.

 

7. Other revenues, including an aggregation of the former biologics and spine segment, saw a 20 percent dip to $7.3 million in the first quarter of 2017.

 

8. Exactech updated its 2017 revenue guidance to between $266 and $272 million and increased its diluted EPS target to between $1.24 and $1.30.
