Exactech Income Increases 25% in Q3

Gainesville, Fla.-based Exactech reported a net income of $3.2 million for the third quarter, up nearly 25 percent from $2.6 million during the same period last year.

All areas of devices and implants saw third quarter sales growth. Spine and biologics sales increased 1 percent to $6 million, while extremity implant sales jumped the most with 24 percent to $15.1 million.

Exactech’s year-to-date net income was reported at $10.8 million, up from $8.9 million last year.
