Exactech acquires Exactech Australia: 6 quick facts

Exactech, a Gainesville, Fla.-based developer of bone and join restoration products, acquired its independent distribution partner, Exactech Australia.

Here are six quick facts:

 

1. Based in Sydney, Exactech Australia imports and distributes Exactech’s orthopedic technology.  

 

2. The acquisition included Exactech Australia’s stock and assets.

 

3. David Bing will serve as Exactech Australia’s managing director.

 

4. Exactech was able to create a footprint in the Asia Pacific market with Exactech Australia as a partner.

 

5. Exactech now has direct operations in nine global markets and distributes in more than 35 countries.  

 

6. The purchase details were not disclosed.
