1. The agreement involves Brainlab’s Elements Stereotaxy software and Elekta’s Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System delivery system.
2. The Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System features a nonmetallic head frame for neuroimaging and an arc design.
3. Elements Stereotaxy advances the capabilities for planning as well as intra-and postoperative verification of the lead placement for stereotactic functional neurosurgery.
4. The two companies announced the agreement at the European Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery meeting in Madrid.
