Here are five observations:
1. Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Harwant Singh utilized the Réjuve System for four procedures.
2. The procedures involved fluoroscopic image-guided injections of the Réjuve medical device in the lumbar intervertebral discs.
3. The data points to an average decrease of 93 percent in Visual Analog Scale pain scores at two weeks post-operation compared to pre-operation.
4. Oswestry Disability Index scores decreased 84 percent on average.
5. Intralink-Spine hopes one or two sets of injections of the Réjuve medical device will permanently relieve low back pain.
“These initial data support our belief that this device can be safely and effectively delivered to the affected disc using our protocol and standard fluoroscopic techniques,” said Tom Hedmen, PhD, chief scientific officer, Intralink-Spine.
