Drs. Jess Lonner, Andrew Pearle to Chair Blue Belt Technologies’ Scientific Advisory Board

Blue Belt Technologies, a surgical implant technology company focused on surgical instruments for robotic control in orthopedic procedures, has announced its scientific advisory board.

The board is co-chaired by Jess H. Lonner, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Rothman Institute and associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and Andrew D. Pearle, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery and team physician for the New York Mets in New York City.

Additional board members include:

•    John Bellemans, MD, chairman of the orthopedic department at Catholic University Hosptials Leuven and Pellenberg in Belgium
•    David Murray, MD, professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Oxford
•    S. David Stulberg, MD, director and founder of the joint reconstruction and implantation service at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Rush North Shore Medical Center
