Dr. Sigurd Berven debuts interbody fusion device

Sigurd Berven, MD, has completed the first clinical use of NovApproach Spine’s OneLIF interbody fusion device.

Dr. Berven is chief of the spine service and a professor in residence at the University of California San Francisco orthopedic surgery department.

He used the fusion device for a three-level anterior lumbar interbody fusion, according to a July 1 LinkedIn post.
