Dr. Michael Gallizzi completes 1st Victory procedure

Michael Gallizzi, MD, completed the first procedure using Globus Medical’s Victory lumbar plate system at Vail Valley Hospital Center in Vail, Colo., according to a Feb. 21 post on the devicemaker’s Instagram profile.

Dr. Gallizzi used the Victory system, which is designed with a low profile for easy insertion and various plate options, for the L5-S1 lumbar plate procedure, according to the post.
