The Nexxt Spine Matrixx implant provides increased endplate coverage for stability and fusion potential, according to a July 14 news release. It can be used with the Struxxure-L lateral plating system, and surgeons can choose one of three options for placement.

“The Nexxt Matrixx lateral interbody system continues to innovate upon procedures such as minimally invasive lateral fusion by providing a 3D-manufactured titanium device designed to support osteogenesis, as well as a surface topography designed to increase osteoblast differentiation and production of angiogenic factors,” Dr. Toy said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
