DJO release fully convertible shoulder arthroplasty system

DJO launched the AltiVate Reverse Short Stem — a fully-convertible, inlay shoulder arthroplasty system.

Three things to know:

1 The device received FDA 510(k) clearance in April for use in anatomic, reverse and partial shoulder arthroplasty.

2. The AltiVate Reverse Short Stem is designed for simple conversion from anatomic to reverse without overstuffing the joint.

3. Its 135 degree neck-shaft angle offers a more anatomic humeral reconstruction in both anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
