DePuy Synthes to launch new spine screw system

DePuy Synthes is launching its TriALTIS pedicle screw system, the devicemaker said April 9.

The TriALTIS is a posterior thoracolumbar pedicle screw system that has a comprehensive implant portfolio and instruments designed to work with enabling technology, according to a news release. The system aims to address clinical needs in complex spine surgery.

TriALTIS earned FDA clearance in October.

“The TriALTIS spine system marks a significant stride in the future of surgical excellence, and we’re excited to continue to pioneer innovation that helps to advance the treatment of complex spine conditions for surgeons and their patients,” DePuy Synthes Worldwide President of Spine Russell Powers said in the release.
