Orthopedic medtech company DePuy Synthes has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with CGBIO for the development and commercialization of an advanced bone graft substitute.
NOVOSIS is a growth-factor bone graft substitute designed to improve clinical outcomes, according to a May 26 news release from DePut Synthes.
An investigational device exemption study for spine procedures has been approved in the US and is enrolling patients to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of NOVOSIS.
DePuy Synthes will hold exclusive distribution rights for NOVOSIS in the U.S., Canada and Australia, the release said.
