Demetra acquires Maxxspine Innovative GmbH

Demetra acquired Maxxspine Innovative GmbH, according to an April 30 news release.

Osartis GmbH, a portfolio comapny of Demetra, has 100% ownership and full control of the Germany-based spine company. The deal strengthens Demetra’s position in the international spine market.

“The acquisition of Maxxspine is fully aligned with Demetra’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the key European spine surgery markets,” Michele Perrino, CEO of Demetra, said in the release. “By integrating highly specialised companies like Maxxspine, we further enhance our ability to stay close to surgeons and patients, delivering innovative solutions and reinforcing our role as a trusted international partner in spine care.”
