Daniel Wolterman joins NuVasive board of directors: 5 things to know

NuVasive elected Daniel J. Wolterman to its board of directors.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Mr. Wolterman will serve on the Board’s Compensation Committee in addition to his new appointment on the board of directors.

 

2. He has been president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Health System since 2002 and has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

 

3. Throughout his career, Mr. Wolterman has served on the Joint Commission’s Center for Transforming Healthcare Leadership Council and continues to serve on the Greater Houston Partnership and Voluntary Hospitals of America boards of directors.

 

4. In addition to his professional work, Mr. Wolterman is an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Public Health.

 

5. Previously, Mr. Wolterman was on the board of directors of Volcano Corporation until it was acquired by Royal Philips in February.
