Conformis gets clearance for knee replacement system

Confirmis’ Identity Imprint knee replacement system received 510(k) clearance from the FDA.

Identity Imprint is available for cruciate retaining and posterior stabilized knee replacements, according to a May 10 news release. It uses a 3D algorithm to choose an implant based on the patient’s CT scans.

The implant is delivered with Conformis’ sterile “surgery-in-box” system, and it’s expected to add efficiency at ASCs.
