Here are five highlights:

1. Dr. Price completed the case at Athens-based St. Mary’s Hospital Aug. 14.

2. He praised the technology’s modular instruments and self-lock retention clip as well as the system’s elimination of challenging screw trajectories.

3. The TOMCAT Cervical Spinal System is intended to stabilize and fuse the cervical vertebral column.

4. The TOMCAT comes in zero profile or hybrid configurations. Surgeons place the zero-profile, stand-alone TOMCAT within the vertebral body, which does not impact the anterior cervical spine. The hybrid, stand-alone TOMCAT is designed for cases with previous adjacent level treatment.

5. All TOMCAT systems feature HA-enhanced PEEK.
